get a power converter for your car a cheap only cost a little and will run that small incubator for while a just off the battery.

Or you can go just a wee little bit overboard, like me, and buy one of these..

7000 watt generator, lawn mower, utv all in one.

Its actually pretty nice. So far, we have just basically mowed with it, but it does well. Oh, I use it to transport my feed out to the pens too!

When my power went out during my duck incubation, hubby was out of town -- 5 hours away, 3 feet of snow on the ground... He spends a few nights a month travelling, so its not impossible for it to happen again. Even if we had had a generator, I wouldn't have been able to get it out and hook it up. This thing, I can drive from the garage to the front door, run an extension cord, and I'm back in business!

I don't Ruby needs something that big . that little mini only holds nine eggs. only draws two watts If that. I like that though. don't want one but I like it.

so you drive it down the hill and hubby drives it back up. looks like its high off the ground .
