Mine are nowhere near SOP, but they definitely got the broody gene
It's fun, because the big ones accept chicks hatched in the pens. There is never any fighting or attacks. They can grow up right in the pen

CL. We don't FB, so so far all is through CL. I'm getting a lot of word of mouth business now, and the AMs are blowing up, so hopefully I can get by without CL one day. If I go NPIP, I may do a website and start shipping

I had to take the AM chick ad down after a week because the waiting list was over 6 weeks

My wife and I bought 4 BO pullets 7 years ago, and both got addicted. Last year we got our first breeder quality birds, then another this year.
We love the SOP birds, and demand for chicks is through the roof, so that is the direction our focus is shifting. We have 7 pens and around 130 birds now
