I heard somewhere super fresh eggs, maybe a day old or less don't hatch as well. Something to do with the ph levels. I don't know.. I think I might be losing my mind with all the different ways of how people do things tips.

I really think people over think things.

I believe it has to do with change in pH. ? related to CO2 levels changing in the first 3 days. That being said, I think that eggs set day of collection have hatched just fine for me.

Don't know about that I have taken eggs out of the box and put them straight in the incubator . couldn't tell you if they hatched or not

any egg that is clean will go in the incubator tomorrow as soon as it leaves the nesting box . I have a few that need to be washed .I wonder do we do anything right . don't know don't care . lets just set some eggs

No..you passed chicken math. Flunking chicken math would mean you started out only planning to keep 6 chickens and you didn't end up with more!!!!!

I believe it was Walnut that has some numbers on early eggs, but my current set was started 2 Saturday mornings ago, and that afternoon I got another egg and I added it that day. I just candled them all and that one actually looks the best overall. The blood vessels extend lower into the pointy end than the others. Dont know why, and it may have nothing to do with anything, but that's the way it is.
I'm also adjusting humidity down a few points, the air cells look a tad small for day 14 (well night 13)
