She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

Two things...
First, 2 of the duck eggs have air cells that have reattached, very saddled but they are pretty firm. Do you think I should lay those down? I'm worried that the bigger one is not getting tilted enough but I'm also scared to lay them down. The third one still has an air cell that floats but it's a smaller egg, so should I keep tilting that one in the carton?
And second, I thought partridge when I saw that chick too (and I do get some of them) but it does not have all the colors. Only white and then the black. I'm keeping it because I'm to curious to see how it grows out! Lol.
This is so very cool!!

If the air cells are stable, absolutely lay them down... saddled sucks, but can be workable... the only reason to have them upright is to get that air cell anchored again...
The other is a toss up... if it makes you feel better, leave it upright... I just found that laying down asap increases chances of making it to pip...

As to the chick, it looks and sounds like incomplete partridge/incomplete paint... :confused:

I can't wait to see what it looks like either. She has to keep us updated with pics.

Ok thank you. I will lay them down and keep an eye on the loose one and lay it down as soon as it firms up!

I know, right!! Can't wait to see it feathered out! I gotta send you a pic of one of the eggtopsies. It would have been the most beautiful chick!! It probably quit around day 15ish and yolk sac looked abnormal But it was a great paint with a big vault! :hit

@RavynFallen
Can you please give me the make and model of the still air incubator you had recommended awhile ago? I'd like to use a still air for a hatcher and want to get the best one possible. Thanks!

Turk post a link to an ad on the Frog earlier today to one, lol... Hovabator 1602N is the one... can't guarantee every single one is great, but on average they are the best of the cheapest... :D ;)

Great, thank you! Wish brinsea made a still air!
They did, I sold mine a few months ago. It was a Polyhatch. You can find them every once in a while. They are also adjustable horizontal turners.

Oh, and I used to think that forced air hatchers were causing my hatching woes...I was wrong. I have three forced air hatchers running right now and they are all turning out perfect chicks.
