Cathy I am really so sorry about our loss. I think for the most part if you have a question on here it will get answered. When an internal laying happens alot of times there is nothing that can be done other than feel utterly helpless, and try to give comfort and love to our little ladies . Again so sorry and congrats on your chicks.

I am sooo sorry you lost your bird. I think because she passed so quickly, she was probably not egg bound, but I am no expert - and that is why I never responded to your post. I rarely even go to the emergencies forum because I am not that knowledgeable. I am equally glad to hear you got more chicks!!!!!

I hope you can see just how caring this community really is. You cannot the level of friendliness and caring here at BYC.

I am sorry to hear about your loss. I know how it is to loose a favorite pet. But you made it a life for your hen. Plus you did everything in your power to help her. That is so admirable of you. I am sorry for not seeing your post. But in my defense I had to reestablish (Re-register) I could not figure out my old register/login. (It was frustrating!) I had to just make a new everything. But please don't think ill of BYC. We all do care for everyone and we are here to hear you.
