Even if you don't know much on the subject, please drop a comment so this thread doesn't get buried?

I know this is probably in the wrong forum, but the laws/ordinances thread doesn't get much attention.
I'm trying to ship hatching eggs to Canada.
✓ I got NPIP certified
Π Get the vet to sign paper
✓ Not in a HPAI control zone

Here's what the vet needs to sign

Here is the shipping label that he needs to fill out

Sooo many questions.

• Best method of packaging?
• Payment options for US/Canada
• Where to place the forms on the box
• Do eggs require ground transportation?

post #76 describes how someone has their eggs packed for shipping. I asked if anyone there has had their eggs sent by air, no answer yet though.

this is a seriously old article.

but it says shipped eggs are sent by air to every international destination except Canada.... :/ of course that's almost 20 years ago.... so that could have changed.

Okay, so all I need is the thing for the vet to sign.
The vet is expensive.
Shipping is expensive.
Everything is expensive.

I had some people that wanted me to ship some eggs to them in Canada but in the end didn't do it because it was soooo expensive and some vets don't do it for eggs. Maybe for them to find a breeder up there may be their best bet. I'm NPIP too.

This is the way I ship my eggs. I have not had any eggs break even though some of the boxes arrived to their destination with some damage.

I ship my eggs 2nd day priority mail. I'm sure they fly them.
