I've seen three main ways of packing. The way you're suggesting (they usually put them fat side up amongst a lot of fine bedding shavings, you want them situated in the box tightly), in foam egg sheets, and a third way, that I plan to try for my first shipment.

That way is you take a strip of toilet paper, about five sheets, and wrap each egg in it. You fold the top and bottom and scotch tape it. Then you put the eggs into a large carton, so they fit tighty, and wrap bubble wrap around it tightly once it's closed. Then pack into a box with shavings tight enough that nothing moves.
