ive never heard a chicken scream before. i am very upset. shaking . you could hear the pain.

Sorry that you are going through this Granny. When I have lost them, they were usually quiet. It's got to be upsetting with her in pain.

Just keep holding her till she passes,she knows she is not alone,give her a kiss and a hug.

Her scream may have been her calling for flock members,may not necessarily been from pain,you answered her call by picking her up.
