I personally would not sex them. Sell them asap. No one will buy the males frankly. And while you may make more money selling sexed pullets you'd probably be better off asking less and getting rid of all of them.Pro: I can sell them as sexed chicks
Con: I've never tried to sex them before & obviously it wont be as straightforward since they're mixed

Three days old if you dont start counting until momma was off the nest
Obviously this picture isnt meant for yall to sex off of
Con #2: there are 13 of them.
I have no idea. I've never done this before. What does this even mean?
What method are you considering?
American game/orpington mixes. Not sure %s.What were the parents?
If you are not a skilled professional poultry sexer, you might very well harm them severely.I have no idea. I've never done this before.
I'm not sure which methods I even can use on mixes? And is it too late to vent sex anyway?
That is also a consideration. A huge part of why I havent done anything. If you are not a skilled professional poultry sexer, you might very well harm them severely.
I have no idea. What color was the father?
Okay, they're not sexable by color if both parents are gold based.@MysteryChicken based on flock dynamics and the fact that I doubt a pullet would hatch 13 chicks (esp since my other pullets arent even freaking laying)... I'd guess this is daddy. Theres also no way to know if the eggs were even all hers. LOL
Edit: hes half american game, half orpington
I honestly don't have any plans. I'm just having fun. I can keep all of them and cull the extra roos / sell them to a family that eats them. Making back a tiny bit of the money I spend on feed would be nice but not required.Do you want to sell them all? If so, just sell them as recently hatched, no talk of sex whatsoever.
