Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

I'm up to four pullets laying! And, there were only two pullet eggs on the floor! I don't think my green layer has laid in a box yet.

Duckling helped roll out pizza dough. She is such a great help! :love

(after our storm)
the Jeep is being trailered behind the moving truck.
when I went to lock up the flock last evening... there is only one hen, Neffy... left in that one section, those new folks took ALL of them. so it's just Brutus, Dutch, Julius and Neffy living in that section. there are pullets and roosters in the other section of that pen... but not too many. and not too many unclaimed large fowl either. we had a huge thunderstorm at roost time so those folks didn't come back, but they might come another day... at any rate, very few will have to go to the wildlife sanctuary when middle of next week comes.

Wow. I know that feeling. It is just so unreal to not hear the noise, and see the beauty of them. I am glad it was not all at once. You can adjust better. Unless you like the band-aid ripped off. In that case, I am sorry they are not all gone.
How are Wrangler and Oma doing?

Cooking With Mylee... she was 3, and I'll never forget that she wiped butter in her hair... she made French toast today, perfectly cracked the eggs, scrambled them, dipped and flipped her bread, swirled the butter on the heating pan (with me standing right there, fire... y'know) and flipped them perfectly too. she made 2 slices for her Oma and 2 slices for herself. my bread has yeast in it so I won't eat it, she felt badly that I couldn't have French toast too... sweetest kid

then after dinner, she washed her face and hands all on her own, so she could snuggle with me and not "comtanimate" me. once in a while she still says hi-cotey... Oma is tired, like me, from packing like mad women! but we're both fine.

I would rather they all be gone. this is killing me. I may take a bunch of bantam roosters down to the Wildlife Rescue tomorrow morning. sadly, no one wants Henry. he's so sweet and gentle and a perfect gentleman, tidbitting... dancing... he also makes beautiful babies.

for some reason, again... I can't post photos. but they're at Group of Seven

Oh Abigail... I was so hoping to have you come up this Summer... I know how busy you are and I'm so glad you have Duckling... and soon another tot to teach wrangling to... but yes, I hope someday we can meet, whether it's us returning east to visit family or we drag you back with us at the end of a visit... and fly you home... I hope to meet Lynda, Arleen and Sarah - and we'll detour the Southern route one day to meet Lindz... that's when we'll see you again, on our way North.

I'm going crazy here. literally. feel like I'm having a nervous breakdown. the buyer's stupid lender just will not give any answers. and we're getting close to the contract deadline. I've been offered a low cash amount, if they would come up 10K higher, I'd take it and run... but they haven't... yet.
