EIGHT.....Today We Laid EIGHT Eggs. 4 pullet eggs and 4 regular size eggs. I feel my first dozen egg day coming soon. 16 laying hens and a Roger. Should happen soon

Someone laid a brown egg today! Haven't seen a brown egg in months. I've had one EE who never stopped laying every 2-3 days. Thankfully. But the last two days I've had two whole eggs!!!!

Spring is a mere 52 days away! we're gaining more than 2 minutes of daylight with each passing day... I raise my glass to our flocks ~ here's to health and bountiful eggs, doting broody's and lots of chicks! Cheers!
