Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

Here are the two Serama chicks that Mustacheio got a week ago Saturday. We think they are about 3 weeks old.

Taken last week.
Coffee

Donut

Taken today.

This is the beginning of the typical Serama stance. Heads held up and back until they touch the upright tail. The wings will drop to vertical position.

Looks like Donut is a little roo.

They are very calm and friendly. Not much drama with these guys, although Donut has started sparring. Coffee responds, but she's not too interested. Her area of expertise is scratching every last speck of food out of the dish! Talk about waiting for eggs-- I will be sooo excited to get the first Serama egg. A one bite morsel.

I was going to ask why you were awake, OK, but then I saw the time. Didn't sleep worth a darn. Chickens running loose through the suburbs, and 3 dogs going to the bathroom all over the house .... Strange dreams!!

Glad they are not real.
Does anyone have a guess on chick breeds for the bantams? The feather footed one may be a Cochin. It is the only black feather footed bantam I can find online. Hoping for girls, but they are not for eggs. They were just so TINY!!!

The time change totally messes me up for a week. Not hungry at the right time, not sleepy at the right time, sleepy at the wrong time!

My first thought on the bigger bantam was cochin, because of the shape too. 4 toes, yes? Cochins are really cute!!! Totally guessing here, but he smaller one might be OEGB (Old English Game Bantam) with the dark legs and comb. Much more petite. Can you tell what type of comb?

Bantams are a little addictive, I think! (You know the joke is weak when I have to give visual aids.
