Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

lindz, that is one strange soft shell - I've never been able to play with one like that without putting my thumb through it or just the act of picking it up causing it to split open... surely it's stress related... in another few day, all should be back to normal.

it's bitter bitter cold this morning, -6 without the wind. and we're going to get another foot of snow tomorrow.. although I'm on the line to maybe get less...

I really hope we only get the 6 inches that's predicted for a little further west. I'm so done with this.

I ripped it open this morning and fed it back to them! It had both the inner and outer membrane, just no hard shell... It was really weird. Reminded me of the science experiment where you put an egg in vinegar and the vinegar dissolves the calcium out of the shell and leaves you with the "rubber egg"! It was kind of leathery, and you could see everything in it. The kids loved it! LOL

Even with the updated forecast, they are still saying eight inches for me. I like eight inches, but not of snow.

I hit my finger with Hubby's framing hammer... Mine was MIA, so I used his to put up the tarp.... OUCH!

now they're saying 9-14" of snow for us. I wish there was a big old dome over this house so I wouldn't have to deal with it.

owie lindz, that looks painful and throbby... but the tarp looks good! all the babies look so wonderful...

the flock block is ready and plated with lettuce and Spanish rice those boys are always hesitant, but they got busy... the Fosters and Royce dove right in... should have been my first "warning" and I got 2 Eggs from the Fosters! darn it if I didn't barely get the door open and I was mobbed! Olive jumped up on the platter and dumped it on the ground! they don't care.... what a mess! scooped it up with as little snow as possible and served the rest inside. Catch of the day! 8, a couple of kinda dirty ones, but not bad enough to give to the dogs!
