Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

The built-in drain boards are actually coming back. I was planning a remodel in my other house before we decided to give it up (mortgage was ARM, and we were not doing well due to health issues keeping DH out of work).

Please don't say, "green"!! Every room in this house has at least three shades of green in it. My poor front sun room. The walls are a nice white, the floor a decent blue soft indoor/outdoor carpet. And then there are the blinds. Green!!
If they could have, I am sure they (DH's aunt and uncle) would have had green counters.

Sorry MC! There is a particular shade of green that was used in kitchens in old homesteads in the early 1900's. The kitchen in my childhood home had lath and plaster walls painted that "kitchen green" color and the outside of all the window frames were green as well. Everything else in the house was white with dark redwood moldings. I loved that green kitchen! I was really sad when my sister painted it a "prettier" green some years ago. Never told her that she ruined the kitchen.

Having Jack London's green sink (the right green) would make me super happy, but it's mostly wishful thinking.

My current house has a green bathroom (with matching tub, sink and toilet)!!! Have a pink and blue bathroom too!! Finally got all the toilets replaced to white but can't afford to remodel the rest of it!!!

My other house had peach toilet, sink and tub, with peach and green walls, and a green carpet. All different shades of green there too. This bathroom actually has yellow toilet, tub and sink.
I don't hate green. It is the various shades in each room that is getting to me. One color throughout would be okay and understandable.

My house, when I bought it, had flesh-pink cupboards. They are awesomely ugly. I have lived here ten years and I haven't painted them.
I think we need to see pics of this...

Just biding my time over here until it's lockdown time. Tomorrow night or thursday morning. The went into the incubator at 10 am on the 23rd so every day at 10 am they have completed the previous "day" and are starting a new one. So like right now they are a couple of hours into day 17 but if I were posting what day they are on, I would say 16. They are 16 days old but sloggling through day 17. So anyway, I could be wrong and I probably am, but I suspect a couple of the eggs are going to hatch early. Now they'll be late just to spite me. Anyway because of that I might lock them down tomorrow night. At that point they'll be 17 day + 16 or so hours. I just don't want anyone to try to hatch in the low humidity environment I have going on in there. I'm doing more the "dry incubation" method keeping my humidity around 30% and that's pretty low for hatching. This has gone really smoothly so far. I only had 2 quit on me. I''m going to be soooo sad if a bunch of them don't hatch because they made it right to the end and then couldn't get out of their eggs.

I have looked at some different apps and calendars and stuff and analyzed it to death lol. I just want my babies to hatch. This is stressful!

Ladies and gentlemen. My chicken nipples have arrived lol.

it was such a warm day and tomorrow the temps will plummet by 50° at least. I'm right on the line between 4'-8" and 8"-12" so it's a wait and see storm.

the flock did get to come out for a bit this afternoon, I'm the one who pooped out early this time. they were cool with it... a little scratch with BOSS and millet as a bribe... and 15 Eggs.
