Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

It is 1 p.m. here and Rumples has not come off the nest yet. This is the longest she has stayed on.

should have done it one at a time... but I was makin' cocoa...























they had Pie, a chance to splash around in the rain and mud puddles and new bedding all around, fun for a rainy chilly day. I still have to get back out for one more egg collection.

oh - that is scrambled eggs with marinated venison scraps from my stew meat... 3 cups of brown rice, crushed shells on the side. BOSS and feed added to stretch it out. seriously smelled good!

oh man it's even nastier out now. windy, icy rain, and the girls in the dome had filled their water bucket with leaves, as I knew they would... so I had left a bucket just outside their door for last round of checking for eggs... a couple of them sneaked out when I left a gap in the door, which led to more sneaking out while I tried to round up the first bunch. I don't mind rain at all, even chilly rain. it's just mud season, once grass returns, rain is lovely.

14 Eggs today, only 10 from the dome. that's a very low count. oh well... good Pie today might equal good Eggs tomorrow!
