It could be broken--trying early is best. She may go broody again soon though.I noticed the other day that my Austrolorp Aretha was going broody. So I went out yesterday and bought a dog crate and put her in solitary last night and today. I felt so bad for her while I was at work... When I got home I let all the girls free and she has been happily playing with her ladies all afternoon. No weird noises, no mad dashes to the coop.Hoping she can go back into the coop with the others tonight. Am I being too hopeful that the broodiness is broken in one day?
