Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

It can take a couple of weeks. One trick is to take the lowest one out with two friends and let them bond as a mini flock. When you add them back after a week or so, they will be at the bottom and will usually protect the lowest one.

I would wait a week now though to see if it works out on its own.

Was going to suggest the same thing....Ours 2 new ones were severely limited in that they were always in the coop, with 10 other hens and 2 roo's. When we got them, they were pecked and bald...when they met Glady's bless her heart, they started in on her...we chastised them, BF would grab the perpetrator and hold her and shake her beak back and forth..LOL..after about 3 weeks they were all getting along for the most part...hang in there, they will eventually calm down...

They are all the best of buddies now.....

Slow-as-molasses me didn't realize it was a printed book you were creating! duh Very cool. The winter page could be made into a Christmas card. Do people still send Christmas cards?
