That sounds like a great place then!! I wouldn’t feel bad about getting birds from there. Some of the stores are so small and have no toys or veggies yours sounds like one of the good ones.

I find the males (blue cere) are usually the most friendly and talkative but they both make good pets.

I got all my budgies from Petco, Petsmart, or another local pet store. I'd go to Petco if I want anymore. They are the only ones around here.

Yeah same. There’s lots of local feed stores but not really any local pet stores. There actually was one but they didn’t really treat the birds or animals well. Oddly the big stores treated them far better.

That’s what I got and I had the same combo before too. I’ve found the females don’t really talk very much and are harder to tame/not as friendly but I still love them! My male is amazing and the females coming around. I would either get a male and a female or two males.
