Show me UGLY coops- where my peeps at?

Pics
Two metal sheds connected by a 55-gal plastic barrel with the bottom cut out. Roosts in left shed, nests in right one. I used to keep food and water in the right one until a bear trashed it all. 300 sq ft dog lot run now in front of white shed.

This looks like a chicken palace to me! I would love that much space!

Here's my coop:

You can totally have flower boxes on your coop, they just have to be where the chickens can't reach through the fencing. Mine are a bit wilted from the frost in this pic, but you get the idea. This coop was also made from all salvaged materials. Random wood scraps from other projects, off-cuts from a friend's sawmill, shingles that were recently ripped off a neighbor's roof, etc.

@PirateGirl , I love it. I tried to grow nasturtiums in the chicken yard once. I put chicken wire around the planter box, thinking they could nibble on the ends that grew through the wire, and not destroy the main part of the plant. That worked great...for 2 weeks, lol. Then Harper figured out how to get behind the chicken wire. The plants were gone in 2 days. I might try it again someday, with better fencing. Or not.

Ok, well if a raccoon pulls on the post the door is attached to hard enough, it will come off. I am going to try to fix that tomorrow but I have no idea how. :barnie

But otherwise it's DONE (except the nesting boxes but mine don't need that yet so I am going to plan those better than the coop!)

When the weather is drier (so like June) it will get a coat of paint, but hopefully new siding first!
