Show me your dogs!

Good morning ByC friends, this Smoky, who is currently side-eyeing the treat bag that comes after a picture taking. He's 17 ish and was a reascue/guardian angel. Beginning to wobble and has to be carried up the steps some time but a good old boy!

His job when younger was to guard the birds from hawks. He would stay where I told him in the yard with the chickens (giving him a respectful distance) for hours so they could forage outside of the covered run they were usually in. He would bark if anything was amiss!

I hope your chickens outnumber your troubles my friends, if not get more chickens! Be well, be kind and be around those you can relax and speak your mind. -A

Very handsome!! A friend use to have one, she acted like a turtle. Walking slowly but when she wanted to run she could a little.
This one is very athletic. Combination of English bulldog, pit bull (Staffordshire), and two kinds of mastiff. Some would call him an old English bulldog, others would call him a bandogge. I think its more accurate to just generically call him a bulldog. He’s more like what bulldogs were in generations past, except the mastiff genes cut down on the bloodlust a lot. I wouldn’t have him with my daughter if he was a straight pit or American bulldog.
