So, I spent a pretty penny to make a PVC feeder that I can cap off at night to keep the lil mice that live under my neighbor's shed from getting in the feed at night. Problem is, they throw the feed out of it. So like today, I have the feeder closed off until they eat all the feed up off the ground.
Id love to see y'alls homemade feeders that cut down on waste, preferably that can be capped/closed off at night.

. I'm looking at the photo, that's actually a 32 lb food grade bucket(Mexican restaurants get their bulk sour cream in them), not a 5 gallon bucket. But you can make the same type feeder from a 5 gallon bucket, it will just slip down a little further over the feeder because of the slightly greater size.
