You are welcome. Good so far. Narrowed it down to one darker stag, just about finished with his sickle feathers. He is a great bird! Confident, wanted to challenge the cocks on tie cords at a young age, but great to handle. Very calm. I actually have a son from him that is turning out to be very similar. Very confident, but enjoys being picked up. I need to get a pic of him to share, but his tail is still coming in.

The one dark stag from your eggs is allowed to free range with the girls as he is good with them and isn't afraid of hawks. I was losing some young birds this fall to hawks, so turned the dark stag lose as he seemed to be itching for a fight. Had to laugh one day when I looked out to see a bunch of pullets huddled together under a small tree with the dark stag circling the tree. Looked up to see a hawk perched about 6 or so feet above them. He's a keeper!
