We all have our disasters. Wind is my worst enemy... I literally yell at it, and it throws my chicken coops, patio chairs and trampoline at me.

I dont even know how to deal with it. I just take the day off work and scramble around the yard tying things down and adding weights on top of things.

Insurance paid for a new $30k roof because it blew off a bunch of shingles.

Wind like that is flat out scary. When it gets real windy like that here I just sit by the window watching and at night cringing every time I hear the house shudder. Constantly running around outside with a headlamp to make sure I'm not missing any birds.

I worry the most about trees falling in my pens. I've cut down the damaged or dying ones already but ya never know.
