I've been on egg patrol all day. Won't take long for them to freeze. But I guess you guys would know about all that with your grass cutting, barbecues and fishing. Lol

Sitting on my deck enjoying the breeze letting the seafood platter settle
Was gonna get my pole out the truck but I'll leave it there may go fishing on the way home from work . Decisions, decisions

Ha I just moved 3 pullets and a 2 stags into the shed for the night.
Tried to move my mean black but evidently he ain't cold enough just yet.

I think generally speaking chickens handle cold better than heat.

Opinions?

Yeah Definately. The cold is uncomfortable for em the heat will kill them. I just worry about frostbite on their feet. They all cover their toes on the roost though.
Frostbitten wattles can get real swollen and infected too.
