My hatching in the Genesis didn't do very well this last time, I hatched 6 healthy chicks out of 23 good eggs.

mine wasn't much better. you can see about how many didnt hatch in that last incubator photo. (a few more actually hatched after this photo)

Yea, all of my broodfowl eggs go in a Brinsea incubator, other than the hens hatching them.

Trying out a new method of introducing a hen to an avairy... I'll see how it works out this afternoon.

If you had more hatch after that photo you may have gotten a few more if you left the lid on

You're not that far off. I probably would have had a lot more hatch but the temp dropped really low after I took out the egg turner. Its amazing how much that thing kept the temp up... it was 92 deg in the bator the next morning with 4-5 chicks out of the shell.

Lifted the lid only temporarily to take photo... I had bigger problems than that.
