Hey Flypen I think your right about the Genesis only being good for a couple years. I haven't had the best hatches lately. I got one more batch next week then I'm putting the incubators away. It's warm now gonna try to get a few hens to set.

Yeah never just let the hens go broody and let her raise the chicks? That could revive blood or run through the proven Cocks blood instead, Father - daughter - gran daughter maybe cross in from other family to keep blood from souring

Yes I do. But it's been cold lately. Like low 20s and snow the past few weeks. Just started warming up lately.

I quarentine new birds before they go into pens out at the farm.. They get dusted and dewormed first .. Not quite sure what to do with this one..
