When I went to work it was pleasant outside... when I left work to come home the weather had shifted to hot, humid, overcast welcome to another state like Louisiana or Michigan (Great Lakes area) or Mississippi... My birds where panting so hard when I got home I actually have brought the chickens inside now. Normally they would be all by trying to run around, nope they are just hanging out in the laundry basket under the fan on the couch watching TV with me... They seem to get it... AC good.

I will have to put them out latter, I will give them some chilled Watermelon when I do.

Tried those pumpkins again. Got 4 in the incubator, one pipped so far. Would like to see how they turn out since I culled all the rest awhile back and quit setting them for a few months.

the worst time for mine is 2-5 pm that's when they follow the shade in their pens. My pens face north to south if they were east to west it would be brutal on them
