Just eggs for now. I'm not looking to draw them in. I'm looking to catch the ones that are bold enough to come out of the woods and into my a yard near the pens.
I trap for fur in the winter bud if I wanted to I could have 90% of them in the area caught by now. Problem is I don't feel like getting covered with ticks, and chiggers to go back into the woods and set snares.

well I hope that day doesn't come too quick cause I still have 6 raccoons to kill. Lol
Shubin you really need to get out more. Have you ever seen a raccoon holding its head in both hands while its brain cooks from distemper? I have numerous times. I had a raccoon charge me in my own yard a few years ago at 1pm broad daylight. Have you ever seen how Mother Nature takes care of things? Not so pretty my friend. Mange, rabies, distemper etc... There aren't many excuses, you've been alive far too long to still have the hippy peta viewpoint.
You have literally fed numerous birds to the critters. Poor helpless baby chicks with no protection, eaten alive by the coyote you threw a rock at. Whatever helps you sleep at night.
you do realize there are animals that kill for sport? Mink? Fox? Both have been known to kill and cache far more than they can consume before going rancid? Many more examples if your interested?
Don't worry shubin. I don't blame you for your poor judgment. You are a product of your environment with a little too much Disney on the side. I won't hold it against you. Lol
