yeah I dont doubt that... he is either stupid or brave.

Funny that you said skin alive... because when he was a chick he somehow got his entire leg skin peeled off above the ankle.. its still mostly new skin and scab but some feathers are showing up on lower portion. Didnt seem to affect him at all. 

(He somehow) got picked up by another hen or stag and they tried to kill him. I've seen them do it to many times. I have several hens that'll grab any chick that comes walking through their pen and most of the time the chick don't make it out alive.
