There are still working games in Missouri which is what I hope to pulling from. Most of those have at least some color. The base Hatch-colored birds are actually hard to come by here. Many breeders also target a market that likely figures color very high even though refuting the concept.

I do not even have birds that leg color other than willow / green.

Do you guys have trouble with the shells being a bit hard, at least relative to the store bought. We got lazy doing the thin-shelled eggs.

We have more of an issue of fresh eggs when we crack them the membrane does not break. As they get older they get easier. Relative to store bought eggs ours are a lot thicker shelled

I've heard just the opposite that alot of rubles were mean. Who knows. I got one that's mean, not like that black though just grumpy.
