I've been outside all day messing with birds. Its been windy and cold.

Cold here too. The wind is the worst part. Went from the mid 70's to snow. Hard to adjust.

Deer hunting SDM? Lots of deer moving farther north right now.

Yeah I saw a couple flurries today, little sleet last night. Birds all puffed up today. Fired up the wood stove again today.

I culled some d*mn good birds today. That's tough to do. A couple were just too d*mn mean. It's not worth the hassle. One black I didn't really want to but his brother is every bit as good but gentle as a kitten while this one just turned mean outta nowhere. Punched a few holes in water jug awhile back been a pain in the *ss ever since. Was all set to rid the yard of two pumpkin stags until a complete shocker occurred while I was in the shed tending to another bird. Anyway penned another pumpkin. Them birds are impressive.

Pumpkins are really regal looking, but same with the Kelsos. Nice to see you here too birdman55, getting ideas for if you get out of fibros?

I thought bout Raising few Pumkins ,I know im making a pumkin hulsey ,Whitehackle Cross.

Already making the change. Just haven't made the call to cull the fibros. Were prolly close to 175 fibro chickens. And now 8 Gamefowl. There r so cool. They were deloused and wormed orally as well before pick up. This guy really knew his stuff and his brother knows so much more. Learned a lot today and that's y I think I will make the change. Games are so unique. No other chicken can really compare. Ever since I started to look for Gamefowl several people have their game chickens trained. It's really cool. Trained like a dog almost. Some even let them live right in the house with them.

Ever person I met that bred games have only praise for them. I find them a glorious piece of history in the USA, unfortunately unless I move out of the house I'll never be allowed to have any, may of finally chipped the matron of the house enough to let me have Ko shamos.
