I just mixed her up a some feed... layer, scratch, red pepper, cucumber, sea weed, green onion, blue berries and cranberries. She is attacking it right now, I put some kelp powder in her water as well.

I haven't used kelp, the red cell is easy to buy at your local feed store or TSC

I will grab some then at the feed store.

I Used to give that to my dogs. back then it had a horse on it and smelled horrible

Yes I got lots of water out... might brew up a little green tea and add that to the water

I have played around with cayenne and paprika and gone as high as 10% of the diet for short periods. The birds seem unable to taste it nor does it cause any ill effects that I could see. To promote uptake of carotenoids which was purpose of feeding the stuff, a little vegetable oil was mixed in. Base diet was a chick grow so I could increase vitamin intake across the board. Intent in that case was to fight Marek's.

Paprika was also added at roughly 1% of diet for egg color enhancement using a layer base formulation. Worked well but a pain in the but to mix when you are a mammal that is sensitive to the stuff.
