Seriously what kind of pen do you have that a hawk can get in but the chickens can't get out of?
That's not one of my pens. I was just joking.

how would you attach it? Tack it down to the wood base along the sides?I think ima try this it seems perfect for my pens and at 8' sections just enough for 25 pens thanks a ton
I'll have a foot open in the front but I can deal with that for longevity
nah I'd use those giant linemans black ziptieshow would you attach it? Tack it down to the wood base along the sides?
short but good article. I wonder if feathering was originally protection against cold for young/adolescent raptors? Be curious to know if they molted into new feathers or perhaps lost feathers as age went on.. But curious to know if adults used feathers as mating signals like today birds do... Only time and fossils will tell...One of the reasons my grandmother used detest my experimentation as a kid in her henhouse was my constant comparing them to dinosaurs. At the time did have proof of coverings of anything but scales and claws.
The good stuff is coming out grandma!

Isn't it just a solid roll of material? No grommets like a tarp right. Running zip ties through a hole punched through would just rip through over time I would think.nah I'd use those giant linemans black zipties
I read all these articles I can find. Very interesting stuff. I'd hate to be the guy who's life's work is turned upside down by the latest find. Seems to happen often though.short but good article.
