Flypen, do you know Lucas Emerson?  I seem to remember you mentioning him one time.  There is a thread running on another site about Blues and Lucas seems to favor the straight yellow legs too.

No sir, I don't remember him. I have the Typewriter blues that are straight comb and yellow or white legged. That's the reason I asked about them. I would like to see the outcome and performance when crossing the two families.

Here is a young stag that Lucas Emerson posted the end of the year. He is from Kentucky. I don't know him, but he has some nice Blues that are straight comb yellow legged.

I am trying to find out more about the doms. They all look different from what I remember as a kid. They used to be low to medium stationed with straight combs. Most I am seeing, which not many, are higher stationed with pea combs. Those I saw here in Kentucky but they were not called Kentucky Doms, just doms.
I would also like to know more about them. There are only a few around the river valley area and I believe all come from the same line as mine. The bull stag I have is more medium station than the young stag I have.

I did a while back. I think it was shubins that I said looked like his type
