I agree shubin. The food is mostly filler and junk. Better off feeding them complete foods like meats and very little grain. Uncooked bones and raw meat works but what a mess they will make. Gotta be kinda set up to feed them that way.

Yeah they do look a lot different. Docking and cropping is very expensive and a pain in the *ss to constantly re tape the ears. Believe me I had to do it. Both my dogs ears were perfect.

Most vets won't do it anymore. It's not taught in vet school anymore so it's just the old school vets that do it now.
By the way shubin my vet don't make you pay when you have an animal euthanized they send a bill. That's bad taste. Find a new vet.

To be honest I didnt know I had the option take the dog home after being euthanized... I found out when my wife had to put down our pit mix female. Saved some money too.

We dont have a "vet"... just a animal hospital down the street. But yea it sucked handling myself at the front desk with people in the waiting room.

Some towns your not "allowed" to bury dogs in your yard. I live in a rural area. He's a farm vet.
I've had dogs all my life and this is the only vet I like. The rest are all about money and bullsh*t medicines, heart guard etc.. with a little research you can save a ton.
You should have seen the look on this one vets face when I asked about cropping and docking. He looked as if he's seen a ghost. D*mn weenies.

Took one of mine many years ago to have put down. Bad experience. We now put them down ourselves, very very hard, but it's quicker, no drama and I have them at home buried next to one another.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. Sad reality is I have a few hens that are older than the dog was.
