Don't feel too bad. Spent the day setting traps. It just poured probably a few inches. It might help if I watched the weather.

Not much rain here today, but somebody got it. Temps went from 94 to 78 for a few hours.

Well started moving things around to build better bigger coop... chickens have spread all my landscaping bark into the 10 x10 brick garden bed area... so started scooping that up. But I did wrestle the old coop to the old holly hock bed area which is right now Bermuda Grass and it fits perfect there, next wrestle big bricks under it to raise it off the ground a bit and decide how to critter proof that bed... maybe wire with rocks/pea gravel on top if I can't find enough loose brick to make floor... I am hoping I have enough for floor though. Especially since in the move I discovered something has been gnawing away at the outside of the coop's wood in a section I could not see well.. and same or different critter has tried burrowing under bricks but failed to either breach the coop or get into the veggie beds which I dug down and added wire to prevent burrowing... something else in the middle of the night is raiding ripe tomatoes too. I may want to add additional fencing to the black metal 10 x 10 not sure... but obviously some critter or critters are getting into the main coop/garden box area and trying to gain access to my hens.

We get most of our meat for free now, In-laws own cattle ranch and family also fishes often. My freezer is stuffed with butcher paper cuts and various vacuum sealed ocean fish fillets.

Bet those "ocean fish fillets" are great. Fresh fish swimming around with all that medical waste. Mmm mmm!

I just send belvidere the butler down to the local organic market to pick up all my food. All fresh I'm too good for frozen food. Lol

All fish are now compromised due to humans... ocean fish have been exposed to and continue to be exposed to crap radiation being dumped into ocean that reactor is still leaking in Japan, some rivers and streams in USA the same from radioactive leaks different plants. Add mining pollution also dumped into rivers and ocean (seriously a mining operation does lots of damage to barrier reef in Australia when they release their water), garbage and chemicals in rivers, lakes and oceans, fertilizer and poison run off, and yes medical waste and medications too... pretty much the reason we are told not to eat certain things is not that those things were always bad, just now they are full of man made toxins. Yep humanity has ruined food sources and continues to pollute believing dilution is the solution (translation till into ground, put into water and spread it out that way or pump it into the air and dissipate it that way) or you can just burry it and forget it in slowly rusting cans. The pollution always poisons everyone and everything.

Fraking is causing earthquakes and poluting underground water ways. Apparently some people think they will get a new planet some day after breaking this one or don't care becuase they figure they will be dead when we kill our selves off along with most life here... so they just keep polluting away for fun and profit.

Grosses camping trips have always been after church groups decide to go roughing it in God's country... piles and piles of diapers, trash, and grossness of human waste my friends and I always end up hauling out of the national forest... and how do we know it is big church groups, the trash they leave behind has their church's name, including all the signs they leave to find the big camp out site they have made and have thrashed an area of forest in. They love sticking crosses on Native American holy sites too in the national forest. Gets old cleaning up God's country from the God fearing every time I camp out.

We need better waste management and some folks need to start cleaning up after themselves.
