They would such a wild flighty bird what's the point? I'll never understand why so many people want to turn birds wild. Raise some ruffed grouse,

Whats the point of owning your gamefowl? There isn't really a good reason anymore here in the States. Its just for hobby and maybe preservation.
Same with RJF, or Black chickens, or bantam chubalayas. (or guineas or peacock).

If chickens were about utility only, everyone would have cornish/plymouth crosses for meat, and leghorns for eggs.

Peacock is for tying flies

Layers are for eggs. I eat 5 a day.
Gamefowl, well buddy you said it. I have them because people like you are ruining them.

I never said I was preserving anything.
In fact I say the opposite. I am changing it up and creating new things.... somebody has to do it, just like somebody should be preserving too.
