did I ever tell you the story when I was in a shop buying fly tying stuff and the guy was working on a crossbow? Anyway one of the limbs exploded and ripped off half of his finger. Blood all over the wall. He took it like a champ though. A few wimpers and couple bad words. Off to the hospital he went.
I thought about asking if I could get a discount on the blood covered bows but figured it wouldn't be right. Lol

ya... the 3 stags are best friends, and worst enemies. They hang out most of the day and sleep together, but every once in a while I see them all beat up and exhausted.

Can you see when the worms are passed. I have had fun collecting worms passed from the intestinal tract. Do they cough the worms up or do they swallow them? This is my first go with gape worms.

In mine, they digested them... never saw them once treatment started...

Did collect a huge tape out of a 3 week old bantam chick (also pretreatment)... super gross, but informative...

I like to give dewormer on a piece of bread. You can put the right amount on it, and the birds gobble it down.

Valbazen in the water seems to work well to in my experiment. 3cc per gallon and no worm issue that I noticed. Not sure if I am being a moron and creating super worms or not, but it worked for me.

Yeah i do tend to get bored sometimes i work part time now due to arthritis in my hands and nerve issues from chemicals from being in the body business which is pretty physical labored work. So i tend to look and learn the most i can about gamefowl and guns when i get bored as i personally dont know anybody that has had them for many many years to mentor a new comer.

But hey i get to spend more time with my girls.

I overheard the other guys talking after it happened. I don't think he did anything wrong. Pretty sure the limb just came apart but who knows.
If You can hunt the piggies with that contraption were all set! I'm just messing around. I don't know a thing about crossbows.

Haha occasionally they don't give any warning at all but usually you can tell without too much trouble which ones need penning before problems start.
