I bred a red over a white and they threw red females and white males. Of those I kept 2 hens to line breed back to their father. And that's where I'm at right now

Im not an expert on genetics, but I'd think you'll get a white throw back every so often from that breeding.

Yeah I don't know they weren't bred for that.

I do want to get some red males off their breeding.

the white hens brother is one bad some gun. I put a pic up a long time ago. He always looked scruffy lol and mean

They wanted a picture with their John Henry. We listen to cash more times than not ha.

I also let the 9wk olds out with my adults all went fine after a few legs and pecks. They got a door small enough for just them to go back into coop.
