Right on. I think a couple trios would be a good start. So a couple pens, tie cords, to start, then i'll build from there as needed.

Yep. Don't really even need the tie cords right away.
You can order a half dozen premade cords from woods enterprises. I like the rubber cord with the Oklahoma hitch. Water and feed cups you can get off eBay. You want the black ones. 32 oz for water and whatever you want for feed. The gray cups don't hold up well with the freezing and thawing ( and pounding the ice out on the top of T stakes.

eBay cubalaya. Looks more like asil to me. Not doing anything with them. Just wanted to see. I don't know what they are. They don't favor what they supposed to be to me. But I may be wrong.

I'm no expert, but I was not thinking Cubalaya when I saw him. I thought you picked up something else to play with. I think there is an oriental thread. Have you posted him over there to get feedback? Weren't yours supposed to be bantam cubalayas?
