Thanks. It looks like a standard ration to me. It uses the whole grains instead of milled, but with a little more variety. I am surprised by the animal products. Do your birds eat the sunflower seeds? I have tried feeding them to mine, but most show little interest, unless they are hungry.
 
I am always trying and willing to learn something. Can be from others, from experimentation and from mistakes.

Coarse particulates as in the form of intact grains have many benefits that are not related to nutrition.

What are benefits of the coarse particulates?
 
I use hanging feeders, but have wondered if feeding daily also helps calm the birds down. By that I mean are the birds "happier" to see you and forget about their fear? I bribe mine with treats as I like them coming to see me and enjoy listening to them "talking".
 
I feed rockin rooster or rooster booster pellets and five grain scratch mixed year round. They changed the names though recently. All birds do just fine with it. Mix the scratch in heavier during the winter. Pretty simple and doesn't take a rocket scientist.
