Man I might have to get more chickens. I got some girl buying 14 dozen eggs tomorrow. Ain't gonna have much for me. Same girl took 15 dozen two weeks ago.

cant you sell em for a few bucks to guys at work. My wife sells most to people she works with.

My Bennett greys that are 8 1/2 weeks old have started beating on each other so some have be separated. That's the good thing about being able to free range, you are normally able to leave them out longer before penning them up. My blacks start this at a younger age, penned gamefowl are a 365 day a year job and while I'm still working in New Orleans my lovely wife is taking care of everything at home. I really do have a awesome wife.

Looks like he's pouting and he got stuck in a brooder pen. I have a couple of dome pens that I've completely covered for the hens to hatch off their chicks without drowning in all the rain this year.

My wife helps me a lot more than I probably give her credit for. She checks their waterers every morning to make sure none have been knocked over and fills any that need it. Feeds em too if I'm not home. Handles evey bird except one. Now she wants her own pumpkin hulseys. Problem is I don't really like em. Trying to convince her about some golden greys. Lol

Do you have any greys? Pumpkins cross really well with them.
