That's the issue. She likes the darker pumpkins and I tell her generally the better birds are a lighter golden color. I don't want to get what I want though. Lol

My Bennett greys that are 8 1/2 weeks old have started beating on each other so some have be separated. That's the good thing about being able to free range, you are normally able to leave them out longer before penning them up. My blacks start this at a younger age, penned gamefowl are a 365 day a year job and while I'm still working in New Orleans my lovely wife is taking care of everything at home. I really do have a awesome wife.
