I like eggs. As long as they came from decent birds they can't be picked over. With that being said if you really want to buy a quality pair or trio from somebody with a good reputation. Expect to pay a lot. I would imagine a lot of people waste time so they get annoyed. Don't be that guy and I'd imagine you would be fine. As long as you don't talk like an idiot.

I made friends with a major Cuban/Spanish breeder... I just responded to his CL ad... met him (he checked my ID and asked if I was cop)... then followed to his house... I couldnt afford his birds but we talked for 2 hours....

I gave him a gift from my work (aircraft seatbelts)... and on Xmas morning he surprised me with a Pair of Cuban gamefowl on my Doorstep.

A hand made hunting house. My feeder goes off at 5:30am and pm once a day and not very much at a time I don't have an issue with deers being spooked by food just wind smeels and noise.

And nope still same sight good at 30yds max. I'll get it figured by next year ain't went out with it more than three times to be honest.

I still don't know what happened with that deer I shot. I swear I think I peeked to see where the arrow was going or something. Because the bow is spot on with the same broadhead and arrows. I'm sure she jumped the string some but not as far back as I hit her. That's on me totally.

Is that enough for high end fowl? I am sure good fowl are worth every penny, but pockets are only so deep for a hobby. Like Havoc said, eggs are a great way to go, if it is even a possibility. What is the going rate for his Radios?

I wouldn't ask for a breeding trio. I'd ask for quail size when he has them. Then if no id ask for eggs. Let him offer the grown ones if he wants he will if he don't asking won't help

It is not always about the money... There are some great people in gamefowl!
