Absolutely. We eat deer meat round year we have probably bought less than 10lbs of hamburger meat in the last year I see it as a way of providing and feeding family more so than sport but I do like the quite time and action of it. Have I hunted without? Yes... would I do it anymore on my own hunting property?No. If your sitting your sitting bait or not and id rather get me some meat than not now a stalking hunt I agree takes tons more skill.

I sure as crap ain't sitting in a plywood house in dead of winter without a higher chance of getting a deer lol my arthritis is to bad for that.

I don't know what the hell a plywood house is but I don't think it has anything to with hunting? An outhouse? I hunt from the ground or in a tree stand. Climbing and hang ons. I'll usually set up on trails in between bedding areas and feeding areas. Bait more often then not just makes them nervous. Like flypen said awhile back. It's got every deer looking up in the woods because there's a bait pile every 300 yds.
Whatever it takes to make it easy for the masses I guess.
How the hell did baiting ever become legal anyway?

I guess some parts of the country do things differently. I watched a video the other day of a guy who shot a cow elk with a recurve at 36 yds. Looked for her for 2 hrs and covered 200 yds. That's it! What a lazy bastard! Went on to shoot another one. Disgusting.

A hand made hunting house. My feeder goes off at 5:30am and pm once a day and not very much at a time I don't have an issue with deers being spooked by food just wind smeels and noise.

And nope still same sight good at 30yds max. I'll get it figured by next year ain't went out with it more than three times to be honest.

When ya got 25mph winds here in the mountain's and it's in the negatives already and you have to sit still the whole time as its just big enough for one body and you could be there for 10mins or 5hours I ain't complaining just saying.

My piss jug froze in around 20mins lol.
