He don’t look too bad to me. He’s much bigger than the 7 pt I saw but he’s a lot smaller than that big boy I saw the same day. Been weeks now and haven’t seen em.
Yeah stupid expensive is right. $130 is the cheapest I could find em, they go all the way up to $170. The problem is I hunt in the ice too and it gets d*mn cold with the wind off the coast in late dec, January. If I can’t keep him warm he’ll be wanting to leave about time I finish setting up decoys. Can’t be having that. I paid $360 for my waders almost 8 yrs ago. Expensive yeah but worth every penny once the temp drops and I’m breaking ice for 200 yds.

It’s the 2% that’s the problem. Fiskars scissors, woods enterprises, wait til the stags are 10-11 months. Lol

Yeah keeping him as comfortable at this age will keep him interested in hunting later down the road.

Thanks for sharing SDM. Always interesting to see. Not trying to be smart, but why not just use a 16% pellet?

It’s the 2% that’s the problem. Fiskars scissors, woods enterprises, wait til the stags are 10-11 months. Lol

My scissors worked great got em on clearance for 6.99 and they are like $20bux elsewhere, And I didn't know bout wood enterprises till after the fact and I don't remember you telling me to wait till they were 11months old but you probably did I just forgot. It could be worse i guess I'll take my 98% lol.
