I am not sure. I was told the gentleman that bred them liked the black fowl. The legs start out pretty dark, but lighten as they age. He is not quite 2 years old.Does that spanish have something else in him?... looks like a slate colored legs (maybe yellow underside?)

This guy is great. He has never given me any trouble and he is very good with hens and chicks. He sounds similar to yours. When I am passing out treats, he gives all of his away. Realizing he is super smart but temperamental.. really gentle with hen and chicks and always giving up his food for them, and spends a lot of energy enticing me to give him more food, which he just gives away...
