Every pen I have has a door on it, a door on them makes my life easier.

Thanks, any suggestions for a side or top door on 36" high pens?

I was thinking of hinging just one side. It might make feeding and watering from the top easier too. Probably way overthinking this...

bird netting on top, lift a side to feed and water, and a net to catch "if you think you might need".
about as simple as you can get, I think

I have 2 round pens that are 3' high, both of them have a door on top. I cover them with a 4' sheet of tin. They're both over 20 yrs old, everything I build now is 4x4x4 with a door on the side.
