I have with a blue. Some just don’t stop. Another thing is some birds tuck their heads to their chest or around their back. When it’s cold out the steam from breathing will freeze and they’ll end up pulling them out.

Upon further inspection of the bird. Looks like he’s pulling them out himself.

Im going to wash him up... throw some DE on him...
started him on high protein gamecock feed only (not mixing with scratch)... wild mustard greens and fruit scraps.

Did you check him real good for lice/mites? Frontline spray.

I did when I got him... Not recently. DE should help with that. keeping it natural and hippyish.
