Does cock help hen defend brood? During day many of the game cocks will do just that.
Not that I remember. I think they hung around a little during daylight but not at night. Hen was on her own.
When they get chased by a fox instead of taking flight immediately they willl start to run and get picked off easily.

Guineas are so strong they’re tough to hold onto it they don’t wanna be held. Watching an animal as small as a fox just grab them up and take off with them in their mouth is actually pretty amazing. I’ve got that fox hanging on my wall.

I just read that Ford will be making the focus in China and then importing them to the US? Who the hell is gonna buy them?

It’s hard enough to buy American with parts being made elsewhere, assembled here or the other way around. Just look at any website for just about anything. Many times you’ll have to really search hard to find out where something is made. Most cases though if it’s US made it plastered all over but not always.

My farmers would benefit from more purchases of American made products. Too much imported seafood is my first beef.
It’s just about everything. Imported seafood (hurting fishermen) imported meat from Brazil (hurting farmers)
It’s crazy. I dont fully understand how it’s gotten this bad but I have a hunch it’s the government allowing it all for some unknown reason.

To be honest the sad reality is most people don’t care where anything is made as long as they get it cheaper. Nevermind the fact that you used to be able to fix things for little $ instead of replacing the cheap sh*t at full cost with a ton of profit built in.

It is largely consumer driven, although at times some segments of agriculture itself has promoted it. Consumers want to pay less and often imports are cheaper because of lower production costs. Production cost can be impacted a lot by regulations which the USA is a leader on. Soybean industry has promoted aquaculture in places like Vietnam which buys a lot of US soybeans. I get really ticked when crawfish, bullfrog and even bluegill products are now coming from China.

The absolute greed of corporate investors is ruining everything. There’s power in numbers yet most lack the organization to make any kind of noticeable difference.
Seems like the plan is always to buy up companies, lean it up by slashing jobs, benefits, and pay. Make the remaining employees do the work of 3 until the stocks and profit skyrocket. Sell it off. Rinse and repeat.
